Cauliflower Sukka / Fry

Hey all , coming up with a cauliflower fry you would have tasted a lot of cauliflower fries i have done little different by adding up the curry leaves and cilantro paste , will be tasty and healthy it will be a good starter try it and Enjoy cooking N Love eating ...




Ingredients :


Cauliflower - 1 lb

For Paste :
Curry Leaves - 1 handful
Cilantro -  1 handful

For batter with the cauliflower:
Besan Flour - 3 tsp
Ginger & Garlic Paste - 1 tsp

For Seasoning:
Chopped Onions - 1 cup
Chopped curry leaves & cilantro - 1 handful
Whole Black Pepper Powder - 1/2 tsp
Dry red chili - 2 nos
Chopped green chili - 1 tsp
Chopped Ginger & garlic - 1 tsp
Coconut oil - 2 - 3 tsp
Oil (Any one of your choice)
salt




Method :


Step 1 : cut the cauliflower in to medium size florets , In a deep cooking pot add water allow it boil add salt then the cut cauliflower florets , allow it to cook partly drain the water keep it aside.












Step 2:In Mixer add the 1 handful of curry leaves and cilantro grind well into a paste , In a pot add the half cooked cauliflower , curry leaves and cilantro paste, besan flour,  ginger & garlic paste and needed salt mix well with the cauliflower.

 

Step 3 : Deep fry the the cauliflower florets keep it aside.












Step 4:In a pan add the coconut oil , dry chilli, green chili, chopped ginger & garlic, chopped curry leaves & cilantro and needed salt for the seasoning only saute well till the raw smell goes , now add the fried cauliflower,salt and 1/2 tsp pepper powder toss well for 2 mins.

 


This goes well with the rice & chapatti

Chicken Mushroom Pepper Curry

Hey all , A lot of people love chicken , And i am also a big fan of chicken so when you have left out chicken at your refrigerator  you can always make this dish because we are adding up the mushrooms with the curry to add on the quantity and taste of the dish and when the mushrooms blends with the chicken well and it tastes like it :) it has black pepper powder in this curry which makes it spicy and yummy , ENJOY COOKING !!!!!

Preparation Time : 15 mins
Cooking Time : 35 mins
Serves :





Ingredients :

Chicken - 1/2 kg or 1 lb
Mushroom - 10 - 15 nos
Chopped Red Onions - 1 cup
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
Curry Leaves - 1 handful
Fennel Seeds - 1 tsp
Dry Red Chili - 2 nos
Black pepper powder - 1 tsp
Chili powder - 1/2 - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Green Chili -2 nos
oil - 3- 4 tsp
salt





Method:

Step 1: Wash the chicken well add 1/4 tsp turmeric powder keep it aside , chop the onions,mushrooms and keep it aside.
Note : If the mushrooms are small you can use as whole mushroom.











Step 2:In a deep pan or cooker add 3 tsp of oil ,fennel seeds,dry red chili,curry leaves,green chili and chopped onions saute well till the onion becomes transparent , now add the ginger and garlic paste mix it with the onions.
Note : I prefer using sesame oil because it enhances the taste but you can use any oil of your choice.


 


Step 3:Add the chili powder,1/4 tsp turmeric powder,chicken,salt and add water till the chicken is covered close the pan for 10 mins till the chicken cooks well in high flame.


 


Step 4: Now add the mushroom and pepper powder allow it to cook for other 10 mins in medium flame with covering the pan and without covering the pan in medium flame for other 15 mins to get a nice juicy gravy,finally add 1 tsp of oil on top its optional. adjust the consistency of the gravy as per your wish.













This chicken gravy goes well with dosa, chapatti, samba ravai kichadi.
